Information Security Officer (m/w/d)

SERVICE PLUS is a medium-sized company based in Neumünster and has been offering services for municipal companies such as municipal works, waste management companies and water suppliers for over 30 years. Depending on requirements, we develop solutions for our customers in the fields of IT, web, controlling, financial and accounting, energy accounting, data management and human resources. Our customers rely on us to take off tasks in the background so that they can concentrate fully on their core business. In which team and for what tasks are we looking for support? We are looking for an Information Security Officer (m/w/d) at the next time possible. As a staff member, you are directly connected to the management and advises and supports it in all questions concerning information security.

You continue to address and develop our Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO/IEC 27001, maintain legal requirements (e.g. NIS2, KRITIS) as well as current developments in mind and adapt our processes – in close cooperation with our IT, management and departments – accordingly. With your view on the whole, you evaluate risks in the area of information security and take appropriate risk mitigation measures. You accompany internal and external audits, carry out training and sensitise employees for security issues. As a central contact person for information security, you are competent to assist internal and external stakeholders. You participate in the preparation, implementation and ensuring compliance with quality management and data protection policies.

You bring multi-year experience in information security – ideally complemented by relevant certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, CISM, CISSP, etc. You have experience in carrying out risk analyses, creating security policies, defining appropriate security measures and dealing with internal and external audits. You like to take responsibility, want to actively shape things and promote information security with your own initiative. You can create new tasks with structure and a clear look for solutions – even in challenging situations you keep an overview. Embossed communication skills allow you to interact effectively with different stakeholders and build positive relationships. Excellent German knowledge (optimally at C2 level according to CEFR) and fluent English skills are required.
