As a safety engineer (m/w/d), you are working professionally with the Safety Manager and actively supporting the safety-oriented development of electrical machines and smart generators. You will accompany the design of safety-critical components, address subcontractors in safety issues, and launch central detection documents within the safety engineering framework. Support of the Safety Manager in the planning and implementation of the safety concept according to project requirements Creation, maintenance and updating of safety-relevant project documentation (e.g. Safety Plan, Hazard Log, FTA, Safety Case) Participation in the implementation of systematic hazard analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA, FHA) in the project team Technical support and monitoring of system design with regard to safety-relevant requirements Support in assessing technical changes from a safety perspective Support and technical control of subcontractors with regard to safety requirements and evidence Ensuring the application and compliance of relevant safety standards and guidelines (MIL-STD-882, STANAG, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, VG standards) Coordination with adjacent departments (System Engineering, Validation, QM) for the holistic implementation of safety-relevant measures Participation in the preparation and monitoring of safety audits and acceptances by customers or authorities

Complete university studies in engineering (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace technology) or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in safety engineering, ideally in military or safety-critical environments Knowledge of the application of relevant standards and standards such as MIL-STD-882, STANAG, ISO 26262, IEC 61508 Experience in creating safety-relevant detection documentation and working with hazard analyses Ability to structured analysis of technical risks and to develop appropriate safety measures High self-motivation and strong communication strength to promote efficient cooperation German and English knowledge for communication with international partners and authorities Intercultural competence for successful work with international teams and partners High social competence, especially in the construction of trust and professional handling of clients and specialist departments
