These are your tasks waiting for you • Perception of activities as a leading specialist for occupational safety according to § 6 ASiG • Exercise of the tasks of the Immission Protection and Disturbation Officer Waste management • Investigation of accidents and their documentation • Check of plant and technical equipment before commissioning • Responsibility for the implementation of the strategic & operational objectives in the Environmental, Health and Industrial Safety Plant (EHS) in cooperation with the local management team, taking into account the legal and company-internal regulations • Contact persons for all occupational safety, health and environmental issues of executives, employees and employee representation and external bodies • Leadership and further development of the EHS team of 3 employees • Implementation and evaluation of EHS audits and development of accurate improvement measures • Creating awareness of the importance of occupational safety measures in our executives and employees • Implementation of site visits, workplace and hazard assessments • Creation of safety directives, operational instructions and provision/ documentation of safety-related documents • Reporting and analysis of safety-related incidents and introduction of prevention and storage measures, e.g. in the case of occupational safety, environmental and safety deficiencies • Advising the management of occupational safety and environmental aspects, e.g. in the context of structural, technical and organisational measures • Development of the operational safety concept and continuous implementation of the concept

.This is your professional and personal profile • Successfully completed engineering or scientific studies (Diplom or Master) ideally with the focus on occupational safety and/or environmental sciences • At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of occupational safety, health and environmental protection and related management systems • Professional experience in a manufacturing company • Certification as a specialist for safety and internal auditor in accordance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 19011 • Knowledge of current legislation, regulations and standards and BG regulations • Certificate of expertise on the Waste Officer, Immission Protection & Irrigation Officer, fire protection knowledge • Experience in machine safety and relevant legislation. Requirements and standards desirable • experience in the management of external service providers and in cooperation with external authorities, professional cooperatives and internal bodies such as the works council etc. • Implementation strength combined with a high sense of responsibility and a healthy pragmatism • Strong organizational ability to continuously improve pro-active operation and drive processes • Embossed communication strength • Ideally leadership experience and team ability to work together across departmental boundaries • Good English skills in word and writing (language level B1) and fluent German skills In this function, You report to the regional EHS Manager (m/w/d) and to the local factory manager (m/w/d).
