Together for excellence. The team “KI Regulatory, Ethics and Digital Law” based in Stuttgart is part of the “Corporate Data Protection & Digital Compliance Program”. Our mission is to address the risks resulting from digitalization in a future-oriented manner. This means, on the one hand, that we support the responsible use of new technologies (especially artificial intelligence) and, on the other hand, that we identify, analyze and minimize proactive ethical and regulatory risks for new digital products and business models, and through appropriate compliance and governance measures. During your internship, you will actively accompany our work and support us to set a framework for a legal and ethical approach to digital technologies. This makes an important contribution to the digital transformation of Mercedes-Benz. As part of your internship, the following tasks await you: Together with us and other disciplines, you shape the way we want to advance the digital transformation responsibly at Mercedes-Benz With your creativity, you help us develop and implement our information and training offers You conduct research on the development of relevant digital trend topics, in particular on ethics, governance and regulation of artificial intelligence. You bring your ideas to the further development of existing methods, standards and processes to effectively implement our actions in the company By configuring and refurbishing transnational workshops and dialogue formats, you help us achieve our ambitious goals faster When creating top management presentations and decision templates, we also want to focus on your skills and creativity The activity can begin from May 2027.

Study of law, ethics or business sciences or a comparable degree course with a strong affinity for IT Very good German skills are essential for this role, as the working environment is predominantly German-speaking and many discussions take place in German Since written communication takes place both in German and in English, reliable English skills are also expected Safe handling of MS Office Ideally advanced knowledge in the field of agentic and generic AI, machine learning and deep learning or other digital technology High commitment and readiness to learn Flexibility and openness to work in a dynamic environment Embossed team and communication skills Analytical and conceptual capacity for structuring complex facts Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
