As part of the Department of Thermal Comfort and Air Quality Mercedes-Benz Cars, the core task of the team “Architektur Thermischer Comfort und Luft Qualitäts” is the concept and architecture development. This includes the inner air path of the vehicle cabin, the heating and cooling circuit including Heat pump and its simulation. The team is also responsible for prototype measurement technology, benchmarking and on-board diagnostics and innovation control. These challenges include: You actively contribute to the construction of measuring systems and systems for use in vehicle prototypes and gain direct insight into the development work at Mercedes-Benz You operate measurement systems and accompany their use directly on the vehicle prototype You carry out measurements independently and evaluate the data obtained – from the first analysis and plausibility of the data to the presentation of the results You take over organisational and practical tasks relating to the provision and transport of measurement technology for vehicle use In addition, you take over tasks related to the vehicle delivery and help prototypes and measuring technology be available at the right time in the right place The activity can begin from August 2026.
