You are responsible for master data management for the entire company with the aim of enabling digitization and data-driven decisions. You develop, optimize and operate a scalable, company-wide data model (Star Schema, compliant Dimensions, Golden Keys) as a single source of turkey. You design and implement our central semantic model, in which key figures like e.g. cover and margin are unique and binding. You are both conceptually and technically able to create data pipelines on our Microsoft-Fabric platform along the Medallion architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold) and also to create Power-BI reports on it. You establish data quality, data lineage and governance together with the controllers taking into account GDPR and ISO 27001. You support our BI, data science and development teams as well as business and IT stakeholders in building our modern business intelligence layer. You increase the degree of automation by using AI accelerators and ideally have experience preparing our data platform for agentic systems.
Complete study of (economic) informatics, engineering or related subjects – or a comparable qualification with a pronounced technical experience. At least five years of experience as Data Architect, Data Engineer or in a comparable role. Comprehensive, current experience in the construction and operation of ETL/ELT pipelines. Experience in the connection and harmonisation of heterogeneous source systems (ideally Salesforce and/or Microsoft Dynamics). Found experience in dimensional modeling (Kimball, Star Schema), master data management and semantic modeling with Power BI (Tabular / DAX). production experience with Microsoft Azure / Microsoft Fabric (e.g. Lakehouse, Warehouse, Synapse, Data Lake); Databricks of advantage.
