Administration and operation of the Windows server landscape including Active Directory, Group policies, DHCP/DNS and Terminal Server roles Operation and maintenance of virtualization platforms, in particular Hyper-V and Proxmox, including setup and maintenance of virtual servers Administration and security of the cross-site network and access infrastructure including switches, VLANs, routers, firewalls, WLAN and VPN Participation in the further development of security architecture towards modern zero-trust accesses including identity and device management Implementation of update, patch and vulnerability management as well as setup and maintenance of monitoring solutions for proactive fault detection Conception, implementation and monitoring of data backups as well as regular testing of recoverability within the framework of backup and disaster recovery concepts Care and development of IT documentation as well as support for mission-critical applications in cooperation with external service providers Analysis and structured elimination of complex disorders, user support with a focus on 2nd levels, support in the 1st level as well as cooperation in IT projects

Complete training as a specialist (e.g. system integration) or a comparable, proven qualification from practice At least three years of relevant professional experience or comparable qualification in the care of complex IT infrastructures – ideally in the middle class, in a system house or a comparable multi-location environment Safe handling of Windows server and terminal server environments as well as practical experience in operation and maintenance of at least one virtualization platform (e.g. Hyper-V or Proxmox) practical experience in the administration of network infrastructures as well as the establishment and support of remote access via VPN; Knowledge of WLAN administration and first experiences with LTE-/5G connections are advantageous Practical experience with backup and disaster recovery concepts as well as update, patch and vulnerability management; a basic understanding of information security is assumed Experiences with monitoring solutions (e.g. Zabbix), Microsoft 365 and identity and device management are of advantage. Interest in modern technologies such as containerization (e.g. Docker) and zero-trust/mesh technologies (e.g. NetBird) is welcome Structured, independent and documentation-oriented working methods as well as strong team skills
