You want to take responsibility for a powerful and secure network environment? As an IT system administrator (m/w/d) with a focus on network, WAN and firewall, you can secure and continuously develop the stable operation of our network and security infrastructure. With your know-how, you contribute significantly to the implementation of our 2030 IT strategy and the sustainability of our global IT landscape.

Responsibility for operation, development and documentation of the LAN, WAN and firewall infrastructure. Administration and optimization of existing firewall solutions. Planning, operation and further development of the global WAN structure. Operation and support of the network components in the international environment. Analysis and elimination of complex disturbances in 2nd and 3rd level support. Participation in architectural decisions, standardization and security concepts. Control of external service providers and manufacturers as well as active supplier management. Support in implementing measures under the IT strategy 2030.

completed studies of computer science, business informatics or a comparable discipline; as an alternative to training as a specialist (m/w/d) with a corresponding multi-year professional experience. Multiannual professional experience in LAN, WAN and firewall management. Experience in operation and further development of complex corporate networks and secure WAN architectures. Experience in network security, including NAC and network segmentation solutions. Structured, analytical method and high problem-solving competence. Experience in dealing with external partners, service providers and manufacturers. Communication strength, self-responsibility, a strong sense of security and a good understanding of strategic IT objectives. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
