For our customers, the Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG, we are looking for a project engineer (m/w/d) in the field of HGÜ-Guittechnik for SCADA-components Communication Gateway at the Erlangen site as part of the employee transfer.

Your tasks:

• Project engineer in the field of HGÜ Leittechnik for the components SCADA Communication Gateway (signal switching between automation devices, communication technology integration of secondary systems and control centers)
• Creation and maintenance of specifications and manuals
• clarification of signal lists with internal interfaces and external customers & suppliers
• Creation and maintenance of central control technology
• Signal database (signal switching) and configuration of the central data gateway (IPCOMM ipConv) and further protocol converters
• System integration and commissioning of the various components in the test setup in Erlangen and Forchheim (safety points of fault-free communication between the components incl. Signal tests)
• Implementation/ support of acceptance tests with suppliers and customers
• Technical support during commissioning

Your profile:

• Complete studies preferably in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or computer science
• Professional experience in the environment
• Experience in project processing, customer clarification and working in complex teams
• Advanced understanding of SCADA systems in power transmission (switches, etc.)
• Very good technical knowledge of English
• Experience in remote control interface, protocol converter, data concentrator Configuration IPCOMM ipConf Gateway & Protocol Converter
• Technical integration of secondary systems
• Knowledge in: process/signal data processing, signal switching, function and application database systems for signal switching, control engineering protocols (IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, OPC, DNP,..) and the corresponding communication structures
