Inspection expert (LST / EA)

As part of the high investment volume in the expansion and modernisation of the railway infrastructure, we are looking for you as an EBA-accredited:n Test Experts:n for Plan Tests (w/m/d) for the Nord test area of the central testing organisation of DB InfraGO AG at Hamburg or Hannover. As a test expert: plan checks, you take a central key function in infrastructure projects and make sure that planning of safety-relevant systems can be implemented professionally correctly and in compliance with the regulations. You check technical planning and systems of control and safety technology (LST) as well as electrical engineering systems (EA) in the context of new, re- and expansion projects and evaluate their compliance with applicable regulations, standards and safety requirements In doing so, you analyze technical plan documents, circuits, system architectures and interfaces and assess the technical correctness, completeness and permitability of the planning The assessment of safety-relevant relationships, system logics and dependencies within complex technical systems is your responsibility You accompany projects from a technical point of view over several planning phases and bring your expertise to an early stage in coordination with specialist planners: In test reports and technical opinions, you document your results and provide the basis for approvals and subsequent implementation of the measures You work as an independent audit institution with a clear focus on quality and safety and can concentrate on the technical assessment of complex systems

Your profile:

You are accredited by the Federal Railway Agency (EBA):r test expert:r for plan examinations in the field of control and safety technology (LST) or electrotechnical installations (EA) and have well-founded professional experience in the planning, implementation or testing of safety-relevant installations of the railway infrastructure You have design-specific and technology-specific recognitions, for example, for mechanical, electromechanical or relay-based control units, electronic and digital control units (ESTW, DSTW), traction control systems such as ETCS, web transfer protection systems as well as electrotechnical power supply, transmission or cable systems With your strong technical understanding, you analyze complex systems, identify relationships, evaluate planning and technical solutions professionally based and meet on responsible decisions You represent your technical assessment securely and understandably even in challenging project situations, with a strong awareness of the safety-relevant importance of your activity You can communicate your results and reviews in a clear, comprehensible and address-oriented manner – for this, you have knowledge of German (at least C1 level) In cooperation with project partners: you are working constructively with different interests and are also structuring and solution-oriented in complex project situations.
