Number: MER00047CR actively shape the transformation of a board of directors We are the IL Strategy & Acceleration department at the board of directors in integrity, governance & sustainability (IL) of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Our team shapes the strategic development of the department and advances central transformation initiatives. We combine strategy, project management, cultural change, communication and digital innovations to actively shape the future of IL. During your internship, you work at the interface of strategy, transformation and project management. You support our team in the management of diverse initiatives and get exciting insights into the work of a board area. As part of our team, you support the strategic development of the IL board and actively participate in the management of central transformation initiatives. Your tasks include: Project Management Office (PMO) support in the planning, control and monitoring of strategic transformation programs and projects Preparation of Management Presentations, Status Reports, Decision Documents and Steering Documents for Executives and Bodies Cooperation in the planning, coordination and follow-up of project milestones, measures and work packages Support in creating project plans, project dashboards, stakeholder analyses and governance documents Conducting research, analysis and benchmarking on current strategy, transformation and cultural topics Support in the development and implementation of communication and change measures for different target groups Creating target group-oriented content for internal communication channels Conception and further development of innovative communication and event formats Participation in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of workshops, leadership formats and internal events Presentation and discussion of your work results and recommendations for action with various project and management stakeholders The activity can start from October 2026.

That's what you bring Studies in Economics, Social Sciences or Humanities, Economic Communication, (Economic)Psychology or a comparable degree course Interest in strategy development, transformation, project management and corporate culture Ideally first practical experience in project management, consulting or strategic projects Analytical and structured working methods and a good understanding of complex relationships High self-initiative and joy in bringing ideas and taking responsibility Embossed communication and team skills Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (at least B2) Secure handling of Microsoft 365, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and Copilot High affinity for digital trends, artificial intelligence and data-driven working methods Knowledge in Canva or Adobe Premiere Pro are beneficial
