Product Developer (m/f/d)

Development of product and market requirements as well as preparation of specifications in cooperation with the Business Developemt Full responsibility for product development from conception to production to the implementation of product ideas and market-ready prototypes in close cooperation with internal project partners (including manufacturing, technology and procurement) Development of market-oriented adaptations and developments of existing products Documentation of the project progress along the product development process in the APQP system (Advanced Product Quality Planning) Close cooperation with Business Development and Sales to standardise and implement product strategy Development of effective customer promises (USPs) for product positioning and processing and provision of technical product information for sales and marketing Support in the creation of sales budgets by coordinating the measures necessary for achieving the objectives Regular reporting and monitoring and tracking of development budgets

Successfully completed engineering or natural sciences (specialized in technical textiles) or a comparable qualification Professional experience in the distribution and/or product management of capital goods Good knowledge of project management CAD knowledge desirable Interest in process and in particular product management Pragmatic and solution-oriented operation combined with good technical understanding Embossed communication strength as well as detectable experience in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing as well as the willingness to occasional international missions according to the requirements of the position Very good knowledge of current MS Office applications
