IT Architect (m/w/d) – Inventory & Platform Integration

As a transmission system operator, we secure the power supply for around eleven million people in Baden-Württemberg. Our responsibility also includes the safe operation of particularly critical systems and services that meet the highest safety and resilience standards – from “black-fall-resistant” interpretation to ISMS certification. You analyze and design the existing IT landscape of the special IT with a view to stability, wartability and technological development. You provide consistent, documented architecture and accompany technical decisions along the lifecycle of IT systems. You identify potential for modernisation in the existing landscape and support implementation through guidelines, reviews and concrete architectural contributions. You agree closely with platform teams, operational and application managers and ensure that the solutions can be operated sustainably. You actively promote knowledge transfer in the team and the technical excellence in architectural issues.

You have a degree in computer science or engineering or a comparable technical training completed. You have sound knowledge of IT architectures, interface concepts and the operation of business applications. You bring experience in technical inventory analysis, system modernization and IT documentation. You work structured, are quality-oriented and secure in communication with platform and operating units. You are interested in long-term stable architectures and rely on sustainable, predictable solutions.
