As a software developer (m/w/d), you take over the design and development of software for connecting military leadership (C4I and C2 systems) in virtual simulation environments. These include Battlefield Management Systems (BMS), Command and Weapon Engagement Systems as well as their radio equipment. Your tasks include editing architecture, design and development of Gateway Software You are responsible for the reproduction and configuration of virtual voice and data radio networks You create the requirement, architecture, interface and design communication In addition, coordinate the integration of OEM software and function in an interface function between internal and external steakholders You support the installation and commissioning of simulation software in the factory as well as our customers on site Finally, you take over the independent implementation of test (including unit tests) to increase system stability

For your work as a software developer (m/w/d), you have a successfully completed study of computer science or a comparable qualification Ideally you bring two years of professional experience You have very good user knowledge in software development with C++ and QT on Windows or Linux You have very good knowledge of software architecture and object-oriented design Knowledge of how to use network programming UDP, Mulitcast, VoiP, Sockets and Protobuf You also have knowledge in a script language, such as Python, Bash or Powershell First knowledge in the military leadership process or training simulations would be advantageous.
