On behalf of our client, an innovative scientific and educational institute, we are looking for a dedicated and qualified management personality for the management of a central IT service area. Location: Chemnitz, Dresden

Total responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the IT service centre Control of internal organisation and the use of personnel and resources Development and implementation of measures to ensure a smooth IT operation Creation and monitoring of the annual financial and investment plan in coordination with the senior management Planning and implementation of IT and digitalization strategies to further develop the institutional IT infrastructure

Complete university studies in computer science, information technology, business management, business informatics, administrative informatics or comparable discipline Multiannual IT leadership experience, ideally in a scientific or public institution Knowledge of IT infrastructure, IT security, data protection and administrative IT experience Experience in digitization projects and the application/processing of third-party funds
