Team Lead Insurance (m/f/d)

Leadership & further development: expert and disciplinary leadership of the insurance team as well as ensuring a smooth daily business and professional international cooperation; Promoting the further development of employees and strengthening existing global networking Ensuring a stable operation: Responsibility for the reliable implementation of the existing global insurance strategy in line with risk policy and corporate objectives, as well as care and care of the established global insurance programs with punctual, pragmatic optimizations Insurance & Damage Management: Coordination of Group-wide contract and damage management, including the processing of damage and the structured escalation of major damage in close cooperation with external contact persons, and the promotion of effective prevention measures to ensure stable damage processes Partner coordination: Central contact person for the international insurance broker and other external partners with responsibility for the cooperation of the assessment of policies, risks and market changes to ensure sound decision-making bases and a global network of insurance contacts Site visits & risk assessments: performing or coordinating regular site visits at home and abroad to identify relevant risks and exchanges with operational teams on site and ensuring current risk information Reporting & Stakeholder Management: Creating and presenting meaningful reports on insurance programs, risk assessments, damage status and relevant KPIs in close coordination with internal areas such as law, finance and risk management to support sound management decisions

Training/study: successfully completed studies in the field of BWL, insurance management, risk management or a comparable degree programme; alternatively a completed training as an insurance specialist in the industrial insurance sector, ideally complemented by practical experience in the industrial insurance of an internationally active company Experience: Multiannual professional experience in the field of international industrial insurance very good knowledge in contract and damage management, ideally connected to a resilient network within the industry as well as initial knowledge in team management; Qualifications in risk and insurance management are advantageous know-how: knowledge about international insurance products and services as well as relevant market and industry trends; safe application of analytical and financial methods as well as basic knowledge in the fields of international insurance and contract law, corporate governance and compliance Personal competencies: Structured and solution-oriented mode of operation, high resilience and flexibility, pronounced team capacity, negotiation skills and a sovereign and integral appearance Language knowledge: Very good German and English skills to successfully act in the international environment readiness to travel: readiness to regular national and international missions
