System operation is responsible for the safe, environmentally friendly and efficient operation of the transmission network and the control zone of TransnetBW. For you, everything will turn around MSHIP – a platform that will provide our team of experts with the next generation of powerful OT/IT systems and applications by 2032. For this we build iterative and incrementally real-time-capable on-prem, self-hosted, self-run, air gapped Bare Metal OT/IT platforms in our own data centers. Against this background, we establish a new team in which you are a modern IT project manager Enabler of our special IT and provide modern IT solutions. In your role, you work closely with the departments and your IT colleagues and quickly get an overview of our business processes, customer requirements and our IT portfolio, as well as new technological trends. You promote positive cooperation within the project team and, in addition to the professional interests of network construction, bring together all the strands of IT disciplines (architecture, software engineering, IT operation, contract management, external service providers). Thanks to your communicative and cooperative skills, you will bring the interests of different stakeholders into line in every project phase. Your goal: a cost-, time- and quality project result.

You have completed a degree programme with a focus on computer science, e.g. technical computer science, business informatics or software engineering, or many years of professional practice in these areas. To do this, you will bring sound knowledge about current technologies, standards and experience in classic and agile project management methods. You know how important communication is, and understand how to moderate at the interface between the different stakeholders and bring the team to the target. In a dynamic environment you feel the most comfortable and have a pronounced agile mindset with the corresponding value understanding. You easily identify complex relationships and work quickly into new topics.
