Diagnosis issues and understand the drivers. Co-drive the ZEISS group strategy process
Independently structure project approaches and define what is in scope
Set up and steer strategic initiatives and projects – often with cross-functional members, in part with external consultancies
Ensure the business unit perspective is suspended in corporate strategy
Engage stakeholders across hierarchy levels incl. the Executive Board and present recommendations
A degree with excellent grades in natural sciences or engineering
At least 5 years at one of the leading management consultancies, corporate strategy or other fast-paced strategy roles leading teams – experience in a B2B high-tech manufacturing, and a combination of consulting and corporate experience are preferred
Strong problem-solving skills, results-orientation, project management and communication skills
Enjoy collaborating closely organizationsal boundaries and working with interdisciplinary teams
Fluent English, German is a plus
