The project Retro Spezial DDR: Curating the archive contents for the Retro Spezial DDR-Themenwelt in the ARD Mediathek, incl. graphic design and texts Working with search engine optimization, application and web distribution of the offer Working together to provide the archives in the network and further develop the technical workflows for the archive opening via the ARD portals Editorial and conceptual cooperation in the (further) development of digital offers and projects in the field of archive opening

Completed studies, preferably with information science or archives Knowledge of ARD archive databases (including HFDB, FESAD) and relevant professional experience (1-3 years) Experience in handling (media archive) databases and content management systems: data mapping, technical interfaces and requirement management for the development of content management systems Curation of historical archives in the network and knowledge of the textual and graphic design of editorial online offers Monitoring tools and success measurements as well as experience with target group-specific alignment of digital offers

Feeling for language and communication of contemporary messages on the web Joy and interest in contemporary historical mediation / Public History Background knowledge especially about the GDR and NS history Experience in the handling of multimedia content (video/audio/image) including basic know-how in the field of image assembly as well as video and audio editing Knowledge of the development of digital media portals and current media usage behaviour Analytical thinking and structured working Very good knowledge of German in word and writing Agiles Mindset- i.e. for us self-responsible and targeted action Ability to reconcile and learn necessary content independently Embossed team player that focuses on the team result Ability to self-reflection and feedback
