In an interdisciplinary and international development team, You are responsible for the (further) development of firmware for visualization systems in the clinical environment and transfer these into the series within a project in the role of the architect.

Design and design of firmware architecture taking into account best practices and industrial standards

You are central partners of the firmware developers used in our projects in terms of architecture and support them in complex issues.

You help solve problems of hardware-related software

Implementation and optimization of communication via CAN and Ethernet using J1939, UDS and DoIP standards

Collaboration with the QA team to carry out tests to ensure software quality and compliance with the requirements and to enable software stands

Creation, maintenance and review of development documentation to maintain firmware and system architecture

You may commission and maintain external development partners and suppliers

Coordination and cooperation with external service providers for firmware development to secure the achievement of the project objectives

You work with patent applications and support the technology roadmap

completed university studies (Master, Dipl.) of technical computer science, electronics, mechatronics, device development or comparable qualification

multiannual practical experience in the development of firmware from mechatronic devices or Modules in the context of medical technology

You have experience in dealing with common development tools such as Polarion, Enterprise Architect, as well as (Sys-)UML and programming languages

You have a good understanding of hardware development

You have a methodological, structured and targeted approach; a high level of initiative, creativity and team capacity; You are problem-solving oriented and possess a safe and friendly appearance as well as a “hands-on mentality”

Interest in project work and possibly in cooperation with external development partners and suppliers

very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
