Technician in metering point operations (a*)

You will ensure the operational operation of remotely read measuring points in the large consumer segment as well as production facilities in the electricity and gas sector. Control and monitor the remote meter reading, including monitoring of the readouts and data transmissions, ensuring the completeness, plausibility and quality of the incoming measurement data, as well as introducing and tracking measures in readout and communication malfunctions. For a structured energy data management, you are responsible for providing measurement data for market communication in a timely and regular manner. You can support the external service professionally during the commissioning of remotely read measuring points, the device of the remote meter reading and in the analysis as well as the elimination of disturbances in the measurement data communication. You analyze complex cases of clarification together with internal interfaces as well as external partners, service providers and market partners and introduce them to a solution. In addition, you take over project and special tasks in the field of measurement, remote reading, energy data management and process optimisation independently and participate in the further development of systems and processes.

You have a successfully completed training for the state-tested technician of electrical engineering (a*) or a comparable qualification. Good knowledge of electrical installation and plant technology in all levels of voltage. With relevant legal and technical regulations as well as market processes, you are sure to go around. Analytical and structured thinking skills distinguish you. A high level of customer and service orientation will shape your actions. Also desirable are knowledge of G685, ecount/ecollect and S4/HANA.
