Construction and implementation of a chemical management system (CMS): You develop a group-wide CMS for structured early detection, risk assessment and regulatory control of chemical substances and processes - with the aim of consistently complying with legal requirements (including REACH, CLP, ZDHC) throughout the supply chain. Analysis and optimization of existing chemical and quality processes: You examine existing processes for efficiency and conformity, identify potential improvements and implement targeted measures for quality assurance and substance avoidance - always in the field of functionality, product safety and sustainability. Cross-disciplinary and international cooperation: In close coordination with product development, purchasing, sustainability and quality assurance, you coordinate the introduction of new standards, accompany product development processes and advise on regulatory requirements at global level Interface to external institutions and regulatory bodies: You take over the communication with external testing institutes, authorities (e.g. ECHA) and with EU associations and industry platforms. You accompany certification procedures, coordinate inspection orders and represent regulatory issues to the outside. Knowledge management and strategic advice: You prepare technical opinions, risk assessments and training concepts and derive sound recommendations for action for internal areas. Your expertise flows into decision-making processes, sustainability goals and product strategies.

Training/study: You have a successfully completed study of textile engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, materials science, process engineering or a comparable natural or engineering discipline. We wish professional experience, e.g. as a representative of chemicals management, REACH / CLP commissioner, textile chemist, chemical expert, specialist chemical and hazardous materials management, chemical compliance manager (m/w/d) or equivalent- Professional experience: Experience in chemical management for textile products with - in particular in the context of REACH compliance, hazardous material management, SVHC evaluation, CLP marking or ZDHC requirements. Knowledge and IT: You have profound knowledge of the application and interpretation of EU chemicals law, in particular REACH and CLP, and are familiar with relevant databases and systems (e.g. IUCLID, SCIP, RAPEX). Experience in handling SAP S/4HANA is an advantage. Authorities and certification management: You have already worked with authorities, certification bodies and suppliers at national and international level and ideally bring experience in exchange with EU associations or regulatory bodies. Language skills / personal skills: In addition to knowledge of German and English, you have strong intercultural competencies and convince with a self-responsible, structured and cooperative way of working - both in the team and in the international project environment.
