Our district heating network is the largest Western Europe with a length of more than 2,000 kilometres. We supply about one third of the Berlin households with heat. With the know-how of our 2,200 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from production to grid operation and expansion to distribution. At high pressure, we work at the coal exit until 2030 and at climate-neutral production from 2040. In this way, we support the Land of Berlin significantly when reaching its climate targets. On the way to this we want to realize a higher proportion of renewable energies and waste heat. To do this, we need to redesign many of our sites and facilities. For the BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we are looking for you as soon as possible Technical:n Contract Manager:in Bautechnik in permanent employment at the Berlin site. Maintenance is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, efficiency, environmental, safe and economical planning, monitoring and control of maintenance and the planning and implementation of maintenance measures and projects. As part of the digitalization and optimization of work processes, our focus is on the harmonisation and expansion of digital solutions. Your tasks You organize and secure the proper procurement processes and monitor all the relevant technical issues in the field of construction technology. You work with the implementation of plant engineering tests and assessments of the results including technical and economic optimization. You are a central contact for service providers in the field of construction technology. You develop proposals and plan the implementation of structural measures including Finding solutions. You participate in the development of long-term maintenance strategies. You will set up query specifications, performance directories, cost calculations, economic considerations and schedules. You can work in working groups and projects in the field of maintenance. You are responsible for the cross-site comparative analysis of processes and components as well as the derivation of cost reduction potentials. You will issue framework agreements regarding proper use and compliance with budget limits.
