In the Team Data Engineering we are looking for support and look forward to becoming part of the team as Data Engineer (m/w/x) at our site in Gütersloh. Are you on it?

• Identification of customer requirements and cooperation with internal teams to design data-driven products

• Design, implementation, optimization and maintenance of ETL processes (Azure Databricks)

• Metadata-driven integration of different data sources (e.g. SAP HANA or relational databases) into the company-wide data model (Azure Data Lake)

• Implementation of Datamarts and Power BI Semantic Models (SQL, Microsoft Power BI, Git, Azure DevOps)

• Identification and elimination of data quality problems

• Implementation of technical security measures to protect data

• Successfully completed studies of (economic) informatics or comparable relevant qualifications

• At least two years of professional experience in the field of database modeling for business intelligence systems

• Found SQL identifiers in the creation or Optimizing queries and handling Microsoft Power BI or alternative BI tools

• Experience in cloud environments and ETL processes (Azure Databricks)

• High motivation and willingness to learn new things as well as analytical thinking and a structured way of working

• Very good knowledge of German and English
