Eight helicopters of the ''Airbus Helicopters H135'' type are used at the police helicopter station in Munich at the ''Franz Josef Strauß'' airport and at the outskirts of Roth. In 2024, the EC 135 model was replaced by the H145 model, one of the most modern police helicopters in the world. It is planned to complete the conversion to the new helicopter pattern by mid-2026. The police helicopters support innovative technology, e.g. the thermal imaging camera, the fight against crime, the search for missing persons, catastrophes and the management of special traffic and situations.

Management and monitoring of airworthiness Analysis of the effectiveness of the maintenance programme and creation of the reliability programme Monitoring (actuality and distribution) of technical documentation Review of implementation and approval of maintenance with the approved maintenance programme Participation in internal and external audits by the Federal Aviation Office and the elimination of fixed audit deviations for the CAMO Guided tour of the air-engine life-cycle Maintaining the documentation of airborne and shoots, as well as built-in technologies, docu­ment of special equipment Review and monitoring of the work packages to be created Updating and monitoring of air navigation documents Work preparation and coordination for internal and external maintenance Monitoring and reporting of these internal and external measures Work with the software “AMOS” Monitoring, collection and reporting of helicopter and component data Input of modifications into the maintenance programme Implementation of change management Implementation of special projects on behalf of CAMO

Technical University (FH), e.g. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or owner (m/w/d) of the CAT B1 sub-66 license Knowledge of air transport laws, regulations and regulations Knowledge of quality management Occupational experience in air vehicle maintenance / CAMO over­average performance and flexibility analytical and conceptual thinking Experience in the handling of aircraft and engines good knowledge of English, as technological as possible very good computer skills (AMOS, Excel, Word) Ready for continuous further education Responsibility, self-initiative, endurance, resilience, leadership and team skills
