The German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) is a globally leading international research centre dedicated to the discovery of new approaches to the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Code: 2113/2026/3 in full-time / part-time, initially limited to one year Location: Munich

All tasks arising in an experimental animal husbandry under barrier conditions, such as: Animal attitude, breeding, care and health control Removal of biopsy, hygiene monitoring support Electronic collection and documentation of the stock Cleaning, disinfection and sterilization work Control of the technical equipment of animal husbandry Assistance in scientific work and care of operated animals Intensive interaction with participating scientists Due to the very strict hygiene requirements that serve to keep animals healthy, careful, clean and responsible work is necessary.

Ideally first practical experience in the professional care of mice Good knowledge of German in word and writing as well as basic knowledge of English Representative organizational talent Flexibility, commitment and team-oriented working style Knowledge of MS Office applications We require willingness to provide a weekend and a holiday service. We ask for understanding that the private attitude of rodents is not permitted. (m/w/d) are welcome as a thorough introduction to the respective area of responsibility.
