MO/A – Start-up Factory & Product Engineering plays a central role in global responsibility for vehicle applications. During your internship, you are active in the ES/APM department, which is responsible for the start-up of all Midsize Cars, such as the (GL)C and E-Class. You are actively involved in the vehicle projects and work closely with project coordinators and start-up engineers, taking responsibility in day-to-day business and shaping part-projects. The internship offers you an optimal combination of insights into the assembly and work in the start-up factory. You already support buildability safeguards in an early ripening phase of the vehicle, which allows you to understand basic knowledge of the optimization of the assembly processes and the comprehensive standardization of processes in series production. In addition, you have the opportunity to work with executives on product/process analyses and to present your ideas and to develop innovative solutions in an interdisciplinary exchange. The close cooperation with interfaces such as development, production planning, logistics and quality management ensures a varied and enriching practical experience. These challenges include: Working with the creation of actual recordings incl. Evaluation of optimization potentials Support in the creation of emergency and long-term measures Takeover of own topics such as planning, carrying out and documentation of partial tasks within a project Preparation and cooperation in workshops and implementation projects Coordination and contact management for international works and partners Working on new-type projects of the (GL)C and E-Class in the start-up factory Preparation of decision documents for upper and middle management Coordination in change year management

Study programme in the field of economic engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction or a comparable degree programme Good English knowledge and excellent German knowledge High readiness and independent working and self-initiative (“Hands-on Mentality”) Very good knowledge of MS Office (VBA knowledge of advantage) Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working Knowledge of 3D printing construction of advantage Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
