Deputy Head of Design & Development – with prospects for leadership (m/f/d)

You support the Head of Construction & Development in the professional and organizational management of the area. You take responsibility for development and construction projects – from the idea to series maturity. You develop innovative products, assemblies and technical solutions taking into account quality, cost-effectiveness and feasibility. You coordinate development projects in close cooperation with production, product management, purchasing and quality assurance. You create and evaluate technical concepts, specifications and constructions. You accompany FMEAs, technical evaluations and optimization measures. You represent the department management in their absence and are increasingly responsible for leadership. You promote the continuous development of products, processes and employees. You actively participate in strategic development projects and innovation projects.

Complete study in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, engineering or a comparable technical field Multiannual professional experience in the design or development of a manufacturing industrial company Experience in the development of technical products, assemblies or fittings is advantageous Safe handling of modern CAD systems (ideally SolidWorks), ERP and PDM systems Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and technical understanding of industrial production processes First experience in the professional management of employees or project teams Analytical thinking, organisational skills and entrepreneurial action Communication strength and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation Good knowledge of German and English
