As a member of the electronics team, You will take on innovative developments to advance the establishment of the fastest electron microscope in the world, the ZEISS MultiSEMs, in the semiconductor market. You collect, analyze, define and document the requirements for electronic assemblies for our electron microscopes in the development team and in coordination with the clients

as part of our development process, you take on the work package responsibility for the realization of new and the expansion of existing assemblies

You take over the technical support of assemblies and modules from concept engineering to simulation, component research, circuit development, production in cooperation with external electronics manufacturers to production introduction

You put these modules into operation and carry out specifications and system tests

to secure the quality, you will plan and perform assembly tests, create test reports, analyze deviations and initiate countermeasures

You will be competent contact for the developed electronic components compared to other specialist areas, service and production

You have an above-average degree (specialist) degree in electrical engineering, technical computer science or a comparable qualification with Master degree

comprehensive knowledge and experience of approx. 5 years in analog and digital circuit technology and firmware of embedded systems and programmable logic

good knowledge of high-voltage technology and the development of precision current and voltage sources as well as knowledge in handling HW design and simulation tools (e.g. Pulsonix) as well as bus systems (e.g. CAN, Ethernet)

practical experience in the specification, development and commissioning of high-tech electronic assemblies

Knowledge of the standard design of electronic assemblies with regard to EMC, device safety and knowledge for the safe application of common standards in the electronics industry (e.g. RoHs, Reach, UL)

a structured, independent and targeted way of working, a high understanding and problem-solving competence as well as experimental skills and a view for the essentials

ideally also knowledge of electron microscopy and experience from activities in cleanliness and cleanroom areas

good communication skills, high learning and commitment and great team spirit. In addition, very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
