Head of Quality Assurance Operation (m/f/d)

Responsibility for Quality Assurance during the manufacturing and equipment process of submarines at Wismar site and monitoring of production with immediate reaction to deviations through appropriate measures Ensuring reliability and consistency of production by testing processes and continuous improvement of process quality along the entire value chain Assessment of customer requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction through continuous exchange with the customer side as well as providing proactive solutions based on collected and analyzed quality data Continuous review and update of current standards and guidelines as well as ensuring the implementation of all operational requirements of the valid QM systems Communication and coordination with external quality assurance officers for inspections on site

Completed technical or scientific training or Studies, ideally focusing on quality management, as well as several years of professional experience in QM/QS, preferably in the shipbuilding industry, and demonstrable leadership experience in a comparable position Knowledge and safe application of quality assurance methods and standards, in particular ISO 9001, and experience in the handling and design of relevant standards Performance orientation, resilience, strong team and communication skills, excellent knowledge of German and English as well as flexibility, implementation and change skills High level of self-responsibility, independent action and negotiation skills in complex situations, coupled with leadership, loyalty and joy in dealing with employees whose concerns serve as motivation readiness for occasional domestic and foreign trips
