As a lead to the mechanical design, you take the key role in the strategic and operational development of our machine solutions. You design modular, scalable architectures and promote the international cooperation of our design teams. The use of modern technologies and AI-based tools will drive innovation and efficiency. Unbox your job – your tasks Professional and disciplined management of five teams (about 70 designers) incl. Coaching of team leaders Responsibility for the development, conversion and optimization of mechanical concepts for packaging machines Resource planning, capacity control and project allocation within the design Technical escalation instance in complex mechanical problems Strategic further development of the design with regard to modularization, standardization and innovation, as well as with regard to efficiency and digital processes Construction and control of international design teams as part of global cooperation Integration of mechanical solutions with electrical, control and digital products Promoting standardization in methods, processes and intersections Close cooperation with adjacent areas such as control technology, electrical engineering, assembly and software development Use of modern tools and methods, including AI, to increase efficiency and promote innovation

Complete technical studies in the field of mechanical engineering or mechatronics and comparable qualifications Multiannual professional and leadership experience in mechanical construction including Head of Team Deep CAD knowledge (e.g. SolidWorks, Siemens NX) and experience in handling PLM systems Expertise in modular machine concepts as well as drive technology, pneumatics and mechanics of complex systems Experience in the integration of mechanical components with control and digital solutions Knowledge of standards and guidelines Communication strength and leadership skills in the international environment Efforts to innovate, to change with strategic vision and customer orientation
