The campus model lets you experience the group close to you! In joint trainings and seminars, which mainly take place in Stuttgart, you come with students from all works. During your practice assignments in the second and third years of study, you will start in your masterpiece Bremen. You can spend the theoretical phases at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg on Campus Friedrichshafen. The Embedded Systems degree programme connects engineering with computer science. It combines content from electrical engineering, electronics, information technology and systems engineering. Whenever a computer system consisting of hardware and software components is embedded in a comprehensive technical product, we have to deal with this cross-sectional technology. In everyday life, we encounter embedded systems, for example, in smartphones, smart TVs and also in our vehicles: in infotainment, assistance and security systems or in autonomous driving. In addition to the technical foundations of electrical engineering, electronics and computer science, extensive teaching content on system and software development, approval requirements, standards and industrial standards in the automotive industry are taught in the field of automotive engineering. In the practical phases, you collect experiences, for example, in vehicle development, in software and control unit development, in measuring and testing technology or in production.
