Academic Advisor / Academic Councillor (m/f/d)

The focus is on energy and building technology (including heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing), parts of building physics (including heat and moisture protection) and the development of climate-adjusted and resource-efficient buildings and quarters. The activities include planning and coordination, acquisition, preparation and implementation of research and third-party funding projects. It also includes the takeover of courses of 9 semester hours. The willingness to participate in academic self-government is assumed. You contribute to the organisational and content-based construction of the new chair “Energy-efficient building technology”.

You have a scientific university degree (Diplom, Master, Magister) in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering or architecture as well as a very good doctorate for Dr.-Ing., preferably in the field of resource efficiency of buildings. You have a well-founded knowledge of building technology, energy-efficient and climate-friendly construction, life cycle analysis, building simulation and experience in the planning and implementation of innovative energy- and environmental-optimized TGA solutions and their quality assurance. You have experiences with research and third-party funding projects and in academic teaching. You have the pleasure of building a new chair in a topical topic and an activity in research and teaching, as well as interest in the contribution of the building industry to sustainable development of society. High ability to doactic-pedagogical and scientific work, high organizational competence, independent and responsible working methods, very good self-organization, high communication, motivation and team skills are yours. You also have very good language skills in German and English. Further language skills are advantageous.
