Junior IT Project Manager (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Junior IT Project Manager (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Bonn, Berlin or Nuremberg. The Center-of-Excellence Project Management - Infrastructure & Service Projects (ISP) bundles the project management expertise of BWI to carry out demanding IT projects, especially for the customer Bundeswehr and works with both classic, agile and hybrid methods.

Project support services for complex projects from solution development to commissioning

Supporting the project leaders in the translation of customer requirements into new and existing IT processes or Solutions and their professional support

Participation in setup, planning and controlling of projects, with corresponding experience also possible takeover of the management of subprojects

Creation of data analysis, reporting and decision templates

Participation in purchasing project services as well as in billing to the customer

Completed (special) university studies with IT reference or comparable professional training (in case of training incl. 5 years of professional experience)

First relevant professional experience after studying in the field of (agile) project management, PMO, IT architecture or IT consulting

Knowledge of common project management standards

Experience in dealing with the Microsoft Office package, additionally desirable: experience with JIRA or comparable tools

Extensive analytical capacity, initiative, independence, addressable communication capability

High readiness, care and conscience as well as conflictability Customer and service-oriented thinking and acting as well as project and team-oriented work

German language skills in word and writing are mandatory
