EHS & Process Safety Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role, you contribute significantly to ensuring the environment, work and process security at the site. • Planning and implementation of systems and processes in the environment, work and health • Creation of risk assessments, risk assessments and causes analyses • Ensuring plant safety and maintenance of HAZOP/PHA documentation • Support for technical projects and commissioning and acceptance of machines • Implementation of internal and cross-site process security audits • Development and implementation of training and training for employees • Coordination with internal professionals such as occupational safety, fire protection, authorities and certification bodies • Support and further development of integrated management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, 50001) • Creation of reports, guidelines, emergency plans and operational work instructions • Local implementation of EHS programmes from the Group

• Complete studies in engineering, chemistry or a related technical field • Training as a specialist for occupational safety (ASiG) • Multiannual professional experience in EHS or process safety functions, ideally in the chemical industry • Very good knowledge of legislation in the environment, work and health • Strong organizational skills and secure documentation and administration skills • Communication strength in German and English – written and oral • Experience in the guidance of teams, moderations and trainings • Analytical skills and solution orientation, for example in noise or plant safety analyses • Willingness to take over the function as an internal incident officer
