As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security.

The Trust Center Services department is part of the IT Security Center (CCITS CSS PKI). It has the responsibility for the complete provision, control, monitoring and further development of the associated services and advises projects and projects when using certificates and chip cards for different application scenarios (SSO, access, time recording, etc.). The department is responsible for the topics CA systems, card production infrastructure and chip card systems.

Your profile:

• Complete study of computer science or comparable qualifications / vocational training
• At least 3 years of experience in the (further) development of public key infrastructures
• At least 3 years of deep knowledge of chip cards / smart cards / secure elements and associated middleware
• At least 5 years of information security experience
• High level of readiness to change, pronounced communicative skills and persuasion
• Knowledge of customer requirements Bundeswehr
• Knowledge of common standards for chip cards and security modules e.g. ISO-7816, ISO-14443 and Global Platform
• knowledge and experience in the professional management of project teams and in project management
• Travel readiness average 1 day/week (30% international, 70% national), driving licence
• German Treatable, English fluent

Your tasks:

• Architecture design and further development of PKI services
• Creation of complex solution architectures and concepts
• Identification of optimization potentials in the service and initiation of optimization measures
• Design and documentation of processes
• Technical advice from stakeholders and other departments
• Professional management of project teams
• Creation and maintenance of architectural and security documentation
• Definition of service standards and target architectures
• Technical support for procurement and requirement management
