IT-Experten (m/w/d) for our Department of Cybersecurity and Technology

Location Nuremberg, Würzburg or Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale

In this context you will find your tasks:

• Processing of IT security incidents in the LSI Cyber-Defence Center as well as creation of position reports and research in the OSINT area
• Investigation of compromised IT systems reconstruct, and reverse engineering of malicious code as well as detection of Vulnerabilities and new attack techniques
• Planning and implementation of penetration tests to identify Vulnerabilities in web applications as well as other IT systems and applications (e.g. apps, desktop, infrastructure)
• Support in operation and further development of our IT laboratory infrastructure
• design and provision of new IT services and specialist procedures in one Linux environment for our specialist departments

Take this with you:

• A successfully completed degree (Diplom [FH] / Bachelor) in Department of Computer Science or IT Security or another engineering / technical degree course with focus on IToderin another engineering/technical study programme with IT expertise acquired through relevant professional experience have been, or
• The career skills for the third level of qualification of the professional career Science and technology, specialized focus: natural science, Mathematics, Computer Science and Management Informatics
• Basic understanding of IT operation and IT infrastructure, in particular of network protocols
• Ideally operating experience in large Windows and Linux environments
• Fast understanding and ability to derive a unified and compact facts in word and writing
• Basic understanding of common IT security and impact in IT security
• Organisational and communication skills and responsibility
• German language and writing (at least level C1 to GER / CEFR)
