For our Business Unit (BU) for multisensory coordinate measuring instruments (mCMM), we are looking for an inspiring leadership personality with profound expertise in firmware and algorithm development. Head of an innovative team: They lead a team of firmware and algorithm developers and shape the future of product development in a globally operating company.

Mentoring and development: Promote the professional development of your team members through targeted coaching, training and regular, constructive feedback.

Project Management: Take responsibility for the planning, implementation and monitoring of firmware projects in compliance with schedules and budgets.

Interdisciplinary cooperation: work closely with other departments and international teams (e.g. hardware development, quality assurance) to ensure integrated product development.

Innovative firmware solutions: Develop and implement firmware solutions for real-time and embedded systems that will raise our products and systems to the next level.

Quality assurance: Replace best practices in software development and firmware architecture and implement test strategies to ensure quality and reliability.

Regulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and normative requirements and cyber security requirements in all development processes.

Promoting innovation: Identify new technologies and trends in firmware/real-time system development and integrate them into existing processes.

Qualification: Complete studies in computer science, technical computer science, electrical engineering or a related field.

Professional experience: Multiannual experience in firmware development, and experience in disciplinary/ lateral leadership of teams

Technical expertise: knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++ and real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems.

Development methods: familiarity with modern development tools and methods (e.g. Git, Agile, Scrum).

Regulatory knowledge: knowledge of legal, normative and cyber security requirements in the field of firmware and product development.

Leadership: They empower their team to advance autonomous topics and provide a trusting and value-adding feedback culture

Analytical thinking: Strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking.

Ready to travel: readiness to international operations and meetings.

Interdisciplinary cooperation: experience in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams and external partners at international level.
