Educational support worker in outpatient assisted living

The SOLIDARSOZIALRING gGmbH offers various help in the area of child and youth work, senior support and support for people with mental illness. In the field of social psychiatry, we are now looking for active support in the outpatient care housing for people with mental illness.

Your task is to support clients in everyday life. The focus is on:

• individual and life-oriented accompaniment in everyday life (e.g. self-sufficiency, daily structuring, medical care, care of contacts etc.)
• Implementation of individual and group talks
• Leisure design
• Monitoring and handling of crisis situations
• Creating reports for and cooperation with authorities and cost-beneficiaries and other social institutions

We expect you to:

• Preferentially graduated as a specialist within the meaning of the Implementing Regulation on the Saxon Care and Housing Quality Act (e.g. Healing Teacher, Healing Teacher, Social Worker, Ergotherapist, Teacher), alternatively also possible application with other social profession
• Team skills, empathy and motivation
• Basic skills in handling the PC (especially office applications)
• Driving license at least. Class B/ BE
• Practical experience in the social psychiatry field is desirable
