Leading middle-level ramp – Room Danzig The long-standing company in the Gdansk area is a 100% subsidiary of an economically healthy German façade building group in family ownership. The Polish site is responsible for the entire production volume of the group with a good 280 employees and 15,000 square metres of hall capacity. For iconic, technically demanding building envelopes, the subsidiary manufactures facade elements primarily made of aluminum, steel and glass. For quality reasons, assembly on construction sites throughout Europe is realized with its own teams and without subcontractors. The company acts as an extended work bank of the parent company, which takes over the distribution of the facades in a project-related manner. The Polish location is certified according to DIN ISO 9001 and 14001. The employees are loyal to their company, the turnover is low. The group benefits from continuing high demand for premium façades, including in the context of energetic building renovations. Sustainability is an integral part of the group's philosophy. Beyond its core markets, Germany and the UK, it plans to expand to other European countries. In order to continue its profitable growth course, the group wants to optimize the existing production and material flow processes with its Polish subsidiary using Lean methods, further refine the planning process and increase efficiency reserves through increased automation and digitization. In view of the increasingly competitive local labour market, a systematic further qualification of the workforce and its own development of young people is also necessary in the future. The long-term technical manager is retired at the end of the year. The aim is to follow a Polish native speaker with very good German and resilient English skills, which in addition to high local presence intensifies and confidently develops the contact with the central and the interface functions there. Increase in productivity – process optimization – automation – digitization You report to the Group's CEO. Together with the commercial managing director, you control the company. With production and assembly you are responsible for the majority of employees. The core objective is to increase productivity throughout the technical end-to-end scale chain with the aim of maximum efficiency, product quality and delivery reliability. You provide a current production and utilization forum. The successful existence of auditing and ISO recertifications will ensure you and comply with the requirements for occupational safety, health and environmental protection. Take part in important customer appointments, e.g. for sample removal. (m/w/d) Business, Functional and Thinking Production Expert with Expertise in Metallbau und Lean Management I am looking for a conversation with an entrepreneurial, functionally thinking production expert (m/w/d). After an engineering degree, as an alternative to master or technician training, you have developed into the multiannual technical leadership of a medium-sized company, a business unit or a factory site. Line production in metalworking/processing and final assembly of components are familiar to you. You have deeper expertise in metal construction (from facade, window, door or component production with chassis, e.g. elevators, heat pumps, air conditioning) and in production planning and control. The introduction of lean management and efficiency enhancement methods as well as the automation and digitization of processes can help you with practical experience. You are eager to decide, act in a planned and systematic manner, and, if necessary, go into detail. Your communication is open and transparent.
