Die Lebenshilfe Schwerin e.V. has been working for people with disabilities and their families for over 35 years and is the main partner of the Diversityer gGmbH. There, more than 425 official and 70 volunteers accompany around 1450 people with mental impairment or mental disability in more than 40 offers in Schwerin with the aim of enabling self-determined life and equal participation. People with support needs bring their topics, wishes and perspectives to their own. They represent their interests on their own and make decisions. To do this well, they need someone who accompanies, structured, understandable and keeps an overview.
