The KEI works on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN). For the BMWE, the KEI is responsible for the following areas of work: the funding programmes “Decarbonisation in Industry” and “Federal Support Industry and Climate Protection” as well as the National Contact Point of the EU Innovation Fund. For the BMUKN, KEI acts as a think tank and impulse generator and pursues an interdisciplinary and cross-industrial knowledge transfer. Furthermore, the KEI operates the office of the nation-wide active network “CDI – Cluster Decarbonisation of Industry” and is the contracting entity for the Industrial Transformation Service in the Regions (SiT).

Your tasks

  • You coordinate the development of our network: from the targeted address of potential new partnerships to the maintenance of existing cooperations. In doing so, you build relationships with nationwide and regional stakeholders and enable them to become involved in the network. For this, you will visit partner companies and participate in external events and trade fairs.
  • You ensure a continuous exchange of knowledge: to the network, within the CDI, in the Think Tank and SV as well as in the KEI. In doing so, you bring your own ideas and actively shape processes and formats in partner management.
  • You coordinate and moderate exchange formats (e.g. workshops, network meetings or digital formats) and support the CDI committee work (control group and advisory board) and strengthen cooperation within the network.
  • You analyze needs and trends in the partner network and thereby guide impulses and concepts for new projects, cooperations and strategic developments.
  • You are responsible for the data management of our network partners in the CDI analysis and collaboration of partner activities.

Your profile

  • completed academic studies (Master or University Diploma) in the field of management, communication, media, marketing, economics or engineering, or in another comparable course
  • ideally practical experience in building and operating networks with the participation of science, industry and politics
  • first experiences in one or more fields of work of the cluster are desirable: energy and CO2 infrastructures, social and regulatory aspects, green markets or technological approaches for industrial production processes
