We are looking for ZENDAS, a cooperation facility for all Baden-Württemberg universities, located at the University of Stuttgart, a:n (m/d) in the field of technical and organizational data protection (100%), unlimited, up to EC 13 TV-L. ZENDAS supports the universities of the state of Baden-Württemberg on data protection issues. This includes, for example, the evaluation of software products and the creation and negotiation of contracts, insofar as You have data protection relevance, in particular contracts on order processing and joint responsibility, including testing and negotiation of technical and organisational measures. With regular seminar or lecture events, ZENDAS sensitizes in practice on selected topics from the field of university data protection and provides information on the subject of university data protection on the Info-Server1.

Your tasks include: Creation of technical and organizational data protection and security concepts (e.g. authorization or deletion concepts). Advising and examining technical and organisational data protection and security measures. Data protection and safety evaluation of IT services and software products. Creating editorial texts for the info server (e.g. technical descriptions, how the handling of personal data can be safely configured, instructions for the data protection-compliant and secure configuration of the IT infrastructure). Conception and implementation of training units. Support for ZENDAS advisory activities in all technical matters. Administration of servers, firewall systems and jobs. Administration of the info server. The individual activities and the temporal scope are finally defined together with you as a team with the management. A close technical exchange and, if necessary, a cooperation in selected areas can be carried out with the Information Security (RUS-CERT) staff station, which is in direct spatial proximity.

You will fit us if you: have completed a technical or comparable study, or have another comparable university degree with a corresponding long-term, professional experience in IT, provide good knowledge and experience in the application and technical implementation of information security standards and specifications; have sound IT skills to analyze IT procedures in detail, including at least basic knowledge in programming scripts, have good knowledge in the field of networks, ideally have knowledge of data protection requirements, have high performance, motivation and social competence, want to keep up to date on the current state of knowledge about participation in training and specialist conferences; independently perform their independent activities, but at the same time understand themselves as a team player and a cooperative way of working is your strength, can express itself very well orally and in writing in German and possess good English language skills.
