Then a dual study at the IT system house of the Federal Agency for Labour is just the right thing for you: In this modern IT environment, we offer you the possibility of a dual Bachelor IT degree course in the field of IT management information technology with a focus on SAP. This is a practice-integrated dual course of study in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Harz. The IT-Management-Management-Management-Informatik degree program qualifies you for demanding tasks in the field of the provision and operation of central IT systems in large management organisations and you complete the degree program with the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). Tasks and activities: The course takes about 3.5 years/7 semesters and is divided into several sections: The study units at the university alternate with the practical phases at the BA IT system house in Nuremberg and are interlinked. The study begins for the winter semester, you start at 01.09.2026 in the IT system house. You acquire the theoretical foundations at the university during your studies and use the practical phases to gain first practical experience in one of the largest IT landscapes in Germany and to immerse yourself in exciting IT projects. The theoretical basic mediation takes place at the University of Applied Sciences Harz at the locations Halberstadt or Wernigerode. Practical knowledge is provided in public administration and modern IT skills. These include dealing with ERP systems (SAP), basics in programming and databases, project and IT management as well as aspects such as process design, e-government and IT security. In addition to the practical semester and the preparation of the Bachelor's thesis, you complete study-integrated internships in the IT system house during the lecture-free period and are actively involved in a modern business area in the IT system house. In addition, you benefit from information events where you receive valuable practical knowledge. You will immerse yourself in exciting topics concerning the digitization of business processes and will be accompanied by experienced experts from the IT system house. You work in a modern, agile environment and gain valuable experience in one of the largest and most renowned SAP areas in public administration. During your entire studies, you benefit from personal and optimal care – with contact persons who are at your disposal with advice and deed. After successfully completing your studies, you start your career in a responsible activity at the IT system house of the Federal Agency for Labour. There you perform tasks in the support and further development of our ERP system (Enterprise-Resource-Planning) and support internal specialist areas in the design and optimization of digital processes. Requirements: Above all, your personality counts with us – a good school degree is also important. Preferably, you have the General Higher Education, Higher Education, or a school degree (Note Average ≤ 3.0 in Mathematics, German, English).
