Consultant Digital Manufacturing (m/w/d)

As a consultant for digital manufacturing, you advise leading industrial companies in implementing their digitalization strategy in manufacturing. You analyze existing structures, develop concepts and accompany their implementation – from the first idea to pilot projects to sustainable anchoring. You combine technical expertise with methodological consulting skills and enable our customers to build their own digital excellence.

As a consultant (m/w/d) for digital manufacturing, you are part of an interdisciplinary team and actively shape the digital transformation of our customers' industrial production. You: Consulting customers in the analysis of existing OT and IT landscapes (e.g. manufacturing control systems, corporate software, process control systems) Conducting ripeness analysis and deriving concrete recommendations for action for digital transformation Identification of value-driven use cases to make production data usable for evaluations and optimizations Implementation of pilot projects in areas such as data transparency, predictive maintenance or increase production efficiency Strategic and operational support of customer projects – from conception to scaling during operation Implementation of workshops, coaching and training to develop data and digital skills Participation in internal innovation projects as well as positioning as thought leaders, e.g. through specialist articles, white papers, conferences Takeover of (partial) project management and moderation of customer appointments with different stakeholders

Complete studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, computer science, industrial engineering or comparable Knowledge of automation technology and production systems, e.g. control and control technology (SPS, SCADA) First experience in the integration of OT and IT systems including modern cloud solutions Knowledge of data management and visualization, such as InfluxDB or Grafana Interest in the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence in the production environment First experience in project management or consulting, joy in interdisciplinary cooperation Programming skills (e.g. Python, C++ or JavaScript) are advantageous Very good communication skills in German and English, safe occurrence in customer situations Additional knowledge in lean methods, digital twins, product lifecycle management or agile procedures are desirable.
