Head of the Department of Construction in Existing Commercial and Industrial Real Estate / TOP Opportunity for Civil Engineers at a Well-Known General Contractor! (m/f/d)

The job owner is responsible for the management and further structural construction of the department in Hamburg and Zug um Zug for the systematic expansion of the business with existing and modernization projects in the industrial, production and logistics real estate segment. This will initially include the acquisition of operational project management responsibility in the course of the construction phase, but will continue to focus mainly on the result-based management of the department, new and existing customer support and the management of acquisition talks. The main tasks include: Takeover of the economic and technical responsibility for the planning and implementation of demanding existing and remodeling projects in the field of office, commercial and industrial construction, as well as the establishment and management of the department within the Hamburg branch leadership and development of a (still) small team of employees, consisting of construction management, costing and assistance Development of quotations and management of acquisition and contract discussions together with the branch management. As a result, this segment is responsible for the new and existing customer business. Coordination of tendering and procurement activities Regular (supervisory) execution and performance controls on the construction sites as well as planning and control of the construction billing and the budget provided Superior contact person of the contractors or their representatives in all questions related to the processing Accompanying acceptances of the construction project after completion together with the team and the builder Continuous control and optimization of the construction processes in the project and department

Completed degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture, Supply Technology or Similar Previous craftsmanship advantageous Multiannual practice in the construction or project management of turnkey construction projects in industrial and commercial construction Solid know-how in the fields of costing, VOB, execution planning and contract negotiation Strengths in the organisation and management of projects and staff teams, in the negotiation of contracts and in the initiatives of demanding customers Solid leadership and ability to keep an overview in hectic situations Good communicative properties and interest in developing new customer relationships
