Working Student Research (m/w/d)

Keep radioactive waste up to its final storage to the highest safety standards – this is our mission. For our research department at our location in Munich (Garching), we are looking for a period of one to two years at the next possible time

You carry out nuclear, thermal and Monte Carlo calculations You develop relevant calculation programs and validate them You'll start simulation models in the various programs (SCALE, Serpent, MCNP, Geant4) You create reports, graphics and presentations You run data research on research issues You develop analysis scripts and databases

You are an advanced student in physics, mathematics, computer science or engineering You have time for a student job of 15–20 hours/week You have a nuclear background (required) You have programming/simulation skills (required) You have already made experimental experiences in material testing (requestable)
