Manager Finance & Reporting Public Service - Potsdam (m/f/d)

You take over the technical, organizational and personnel management of the main accounting and accounting department with up to eight employees You are responsible for and controlling monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, including annexes and other internal and external reports You coordinate cooperation with auditors and provide expert advice on complex balance sheet issues You monitor payment transactions, provisions as well as relevant booking and system interfaces and are responsible for special accounting circles and special accounting You are the central contact person for other savings and staff areas as well as for requests from the Federal Ministry of Finance You conduct projects on digitization, further development and optimization of the processes in the main book and develop corresponding policies and booking instructions

You have a degree in economics (Uni-Diplom/Master) with a focus on finance/invoicing You bring several years of experience in commercial accounting, financial accounting, and ideally in consolidated accounting, and well-founded knowledge in balance sheet and commercial law. You have demonstrable, comprehensive management experience, ideally in accounting or financial accounting. Knowledge in real estate management as well as dealing with economic and accounting issues in real estate are desirable You are safe in handling MS Office, especially Excel, and ideally have SAP skills. You convince with strong leadership and social competence and have the pleasure of promoting and developing employees You act responsibly, make clear decisions even in demanding questions and represent these sovereign You communicate clearly, bindingly and addressably and move safely in exchange with different disciplines and hierarchy levels
