asterdorf assistenz west – these are about 1000 employees *in 73 locations. Together we stand for empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as children and young people in Hamburg. Due to the diversity of our educational, nursing and commercial skills, we offer around 1,300 people outpatient assistance and special living forms – personalized and socially adapted to the needs of our clients. In our day works, around 300 clients work in office or garden care. We do what makes sense and strengthens education and participation. We're looking for you! Located on the inclusive Alsterdorfer Markt you will find many housing and assistance offers of the Alsterdorf assistenz west gGmbH. Among them is the living offer in the Paul-Stritter-Weg 8, where up to 24 clients live in 12 apartments, spread over three floors. The support needs are as diverse as the people who live here! We offer services of integration assistance in special housing and in housing with assistance. The focus of our work is on personal assistance for participation in life as well as building and maintaining social networks. In addition, assistance includes day-to-day nursing, domestic and advisory activities.

The Alsterdorfer Markt is ideally accessible via the U1 and the walking proximity of shopping and leisure activities.

Your duties

• They support everyday assistance and primary care activities (body care and hygiene).
• They provide assistance in various internal and external activities, e.g. support in the household, joint shopping, support in everyday and leisure activities.
• You document your work done in the context of this documentation.
• You create the resource-oriented assistance planning together with our clients *inside and organize staff-centric, social-spatial assistance services in the team.
• They use procedures of supported communication and technical assistance.

Your profile

• You have a completed training as a curator in, educator in, medical education in, social education in or have a comparable pedagogical qualification, like with professional experience in integration aid (SGB IX)
• Clear positioning towards empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities
• Estimation and sensitivity for the needs of the client *inside
• Open and clear communication
• Structured, independent and self-reflected working
• High motivation for teamwork, creativity and spontaneity in everyday design
• Interest in continuous, professional training and further development
• Work in shiftwork and weekends
