Surveying engineer in steel bridge construction (m/f/d)

You ensure that our steel bridges are manufactured and assembled in millimeter accuracy. With state-of-the-art optical and digital measurement technology, you accompany the entire process – from production in the factory to assembly at the construction site.

You are responsible for carrying out dimensional checks on assemblies, such as those specified by work preparation or production. You assume the responsibility for determining the measurement points according to the measurement control plan and give R  feedback in the case of setpoint deviations. Beforehand, you document and evaluate the measured data obtained and agree with the work preparation and assembly planning. In addition, you are responsible for setting measurement marks after coating, if present, as well as for temporary measuring of components on the site. The testing of the measuring devices used, such as tachymeters, laser scanners and modern measuring systems, makes your field of activity useful. Perspectively, you take responsibility for complex surveying tasks and thus contribute to the further development of our measurement and assembly standards.

You bring a degree in survey engineering, geoinformatics or a similar field of study, and appropriate professional experience is advantageous. Even if you have just completed your studies, we support you with a structured incorporation by experienced colleagues. You can demonstrate knowledge of the optical and numerical measurement of components. It is a great interest in new technologies and new forms of work. You are ideally able to obtain good knowledge of the use of surveying instruments. First experiences with 3D models, BIM applications or CAD systems would be advantageous. The willingness for occasional deployments on construction sites within Germany should be available to you. Your profile is rounded off by team skills and an independent, committed and responsible way of working.
